The World Perfumery Congress (WPC) 2026, hosted by the American Society of Perfumers, has announced its full three-day program running June 23–25 in Monterey, California. The event will bring together the global fragrance community for a celebration of artistry, science, technology, and business, featuring leaders from Interparfums, L’Oréal, Boy Smells, L’Occitane Group, Snif, Euromonitor, Pura, Procter & Gamble, and many more.
The congress features keynote conversations, immersive perfumer workshops, forward-thinking panels, and prestigious industry awards — including the inaugural WPC Exhibitor Awards. At the previous edition, IFF unveiled new fragrance ingredients at WPC 2024 in Geneva, setting the stage for continued innovation.
World Perfumery Congress 2026 Program Highlights
Day one (June 23) opens with an exclusive keynote fireside chat with Walter Johnsen, Global Vice President of Product Development at Interparfums, Inc., followed by a conversation between Mara Dumski (Chief Fragrance Experience Officer at Pura) and Carol Hamilton (Group President, Acquisitions at L’Oréal). A panel on brand innovation features leaders from Boy Smells, L’Occitane Group, and Snif.
WPC 2026: AI, Arabian Fragrances, and Digital Trends
Day two (June 24) features Euromonitor‘s Kayla Villena examining the evolving landscape of Arabian fragrances, followed by a panel on AI-driven fragrance formulation with representatives from The Perfume Movement, MATTEO Parfums, and Ārya Tārā. A session on digital trends explores how social influence and Gen Z consumer behavior are reshaping fragrance discovery, with panelists from Scent Marketing, Tru Fragrance & Beauty, and Victoria’s Secret & Co.
WPC 2026 Awards and Closing Ceremony
Day three (June 25) addresses regulatory creativity with leaders from Mane, the International Fragrance Association, and the Fragrance Creators Association. The historic inaugural WPC Exhibitor Awards will recognize excellence in Most Innovative Ingredient, Standout Fragrance Technology, and Eco Champion. The congress closes with a reception and dinner at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
